Why do you want me to capture your wedding day? How do you think you'll feel watching everything back in years to come?
The biggest reason why we wanted to have a videographer on our wedding day was to share the day with family that could not make it. Lot of Mike's family from Europe and Lebanon was not able to make it so we thought this was a good way to share the day with them. We want you to capture all the raw moments of our love and our day so we can always look back on this on this important day.
The Proposal? Tell me everything
Mike bought the ring Dec 2019 but then covid happened the week he was going to propose in March!! We had plans to go skiing (all resorts got shut down) and that is when he wanted to propose. So then mike had to come up with another plan. We live near a lake and spent a lot of time there during covid bc it was "safe" But one day Mike made it really special by setting up a picnic and played his guitar. That is the day he proposed. It was romantic just us there to enjoy the moment.
When you're not in full wedding mode, how do spend your free time? What's your ideal day?
I am a pediatric nurse and mike is a capital markets finance specialist.
We both love to ski- that is our favorite sport to do together. We spend most of our free time outside- hiking, camping in colorado. We also both love going to the beach. Most importantly we love spending time with our family and friends! We cannot wait to start traveling again once it is safer with coivd!
Why did you choose the wedding venue? What was special about it when you seen it for the first time?
Folino is the perfect venue for us. It was both our nightmare to get married in a ballroom with no windows and have that typical Jersey wedding. Folino has a beautiful outdoor and indoor space. We also loved the food and wine. So it was just an easy choice for us! We also loved the idea of having our wedding photos done in a vineyard.
Tell me about your vision for the day itself. You can go in to as much detail as you like. Colour schemes, decor, food, atmosphere, the dress? What experience do you want to give your guests?
Mike and I want our wedding day to be a reflection of ourselves. We want it to be elegant, classic, romantic and memorable not only for us but our guests as well. We are excited to join our families since they have never met before in person!! (Most of mike's family lives in Lebanon). We are just so happy right now to be finally getting married and we are just so excited!
