Why do you want me to capture your wedding day? How do you think you'll feel watching everything back in years to come?
We felt that you would be able to capture the genuine but playful connection we have in a way that wouldn't be too formal or stuffy. We hope to look back with full hearts of love and pride towards the life we have built over the past ten years and will continue to build!
The Proposal? Tell me everything
We were in Madrid, Spain for Kristina's 30th birthday. Kristina had been *patiently* waiting for Tal to propose for quite some time and had set a "deadline" to be engagement by her 30th. Tal had told Kristina before their trip that this might not happen. On the morning of Kristina's birthday, Tal booked a private walking tour with a tour guide who doubled as a photographer (which seems to be pretty popular, who knew?) Kristina thought the tour was 90 minutes, so of course she wore the most uncomfortable shoes possible. The tour ended up being 3hrs! Tal had planned to propose at the final spot of the tour which was the arches at Puerta de Alcalá. Tal was carrying a book bag all day (which Kristina didn't even notice) that had a book with the proposal. Kristina said yes of course!
When you're not in full wedding mode, how do spend your free time? What's your ideal day?
Kristina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Tal is the General Manager of the Audi dealership in Paramus. We LOVE traveling. Of course that has been hindered because of the pandemic, but most recently we were able to rent an RV and do a National Park tour in Montana. We had an amazing time. We love finding new funky food, live music, and football. We also love doing absolutely nothing together and finding new shows to watch while cuddling with our dog, Xena.
Why did you choose the wedding venue? What was special about it when you seen it for the first time?
The place was a total construction zone when we first toured it. Kristina fell in love right away with Renault Winery. She tends to see how things could be versus how they are in the moment. But very simply, Tal loves golf and Kristina loves wine!
Tell me about your vision for the day itself. You can go in to as much detail as you like. Colour schemes, decor, food, atmosphere, the dress? What experience do you want to give your guests?
The vision for the day itself is just FUN. Kristina handled most of the decor. Vintage mauve, black, and white are the base colors of the day with lots of wild flowers and bright pops of colors. We put a lot of focus on the food for the cocktail hour and the bar, because we want our guests to have a great time and celebrate. A lot of people are traveling and attending a wedding for the first time since the pandemic, so it is very important for us to capture the smiles and laughter. We plan to take moments to ourselves here and there, but you will find us on the dance floor for the majority of the day at Renault Winery.
